Seven people died in Donetsk after a Ukrainian missile hit a minibus

During the shelling of Donetsk, a Ukrainian rocket hit a minibus, killing seven people. This was announced by the mayor of the city Alexei Kulemzin.

“According to preliminary data, 7 people died in the area of ​​​​the former supermarket “Ukraine” – getting into a fixed-route taxi No. 25,” – wrote he is in his Telegram channel. The head of the city specified that the information is being checked.

According to Kulemzin, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been shelling Donetsk since morning, April 28. At 11:16 a.m., he reported that the projectile had been spotted in the area of ​​the Wedding Palace. Voroshilovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Kyiv districts also came under fire. In addition, the projectile hit the Olympic Stadium and the Park of Forged Figures, Kulemzin later specified.

Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin named shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “brutal”. He clarified that one child was among those killed in the minibus. More than 10 wounded turned to hospitals, Pushilin added. According to him, a hospital, a park and residential buildings came under fire, among other things.

Donetsk is regularly shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The day before, April 27, Kulemzin informedthat four children were injured as a result of an attack by Ukraine. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 27 shells of 155 mm caliber, 7 shells of 152 mm caliber, as well as 10 rockets from a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) in three districts of the city.

On April 21, deputy of the DPR parliament, lieutenant colonel Andrey Baevsky, explaining the importance of taking control of Avdiivka and Maryinka, pointed outthat the Ukrainian military are shelling Donetsk from firing points located behind these settlements. Pushilin April 27 informedthat Russian forces control 50 of the 59 quarters of Marinka, “virtually all positions” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in the visibility zone of Russian military personnel.
