Seven followers of neo-Nazis convicted in Saratov

For committing extremist crimes, seven residents of Saratov aged 16 to 22 were sentenced to real terms. They were sentenced from 10 months to 2.5 years in prison. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Saratov region.
“The evidence collected by the Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigation Department for the Saratov Region was sufficient to recognize seven residents of the city of Saratov aged 16 to 22 guilty of committing extremist crimes,” the report says.
They clarified that three minors were sentenced to 2.5 years in prison to be served in a correctional colony of general regime. At the same time, four criminals who have reached the age of 18 were sentenced to 1 year and 1 month, as well as 10 months in a correctional colony of general regime and 10 months in a colony-settlement.
The court found that in 2020 in Saratov, four citizens decided to create an extremist community. After some time, they were joined by three more residents who were supporters of ultra-right neo-Nazi views.
