Serpukhovichi participated in the organization of the festival “Moscow Region WITHOUT Boundaries”

Athletes of the Equal Opportunities Disabled Club, together with Tatyana Karzubova, a deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma, took part in organizing the first festival of equal opportunities for wheelchair users.
“Podmoskovye WITHOUT Boundaries” brought together over 200 disabled people, of which 80 are wheelchair users. The event was held in the urban district of Pushkino.
At the opening, State Duma deputy Mikhail Terentyev and Moscow Regional Duma deputy Tatyana Karzubova addressed the athletes.
Festival participants competed in various sports. There were also board games such as chess, checkers, cornhole and jaccolo. Wheelchair figure driving, wheelchair basketball, and hand-bike racing became interesting competitions.
Athletes also competed in table tennis, arm wrestling, and darts. Master classes in Paralympic disciplines were held. The exhibition “City of Masters” was also organized. An animation playground was provided for children in wheelchairs.
Tatyana Karzubova held a master class in archery at the festival, and athletes from the Serpukhov club “Equal Opportunities” prepared powerlifting competitions.
The event was organized by the Moscow Regional Public Organization of the Disabled “Chariot”, with the support of the Ministries of Information and Social Communications and Social Development of the region, the Presidential Grants Fund, and the administration of the Pushkino District.
