Serpukhovicha became a winner of a charity race

In Tula, as part of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life!” The first charity half-marathon “More than running!” took place. This event, organized to raise funds to help a child with cerebral palsy, attracted the attention of more than 700 runners from 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The organizers of the half marathon prepared five distances of varying lengths: 300 m, 600 m, 5 km, 10 km and 21.1 km, demonstrating their endurance and willpower.

Not only adult athletes, but also children took part in the race. The youngest participant was only 4 years old, and the oldest was 80 years old. And everyone managed to show their activity and energy, proving that age is not an obstacle to a healthy lifestyle.

The goal of the event was to raise the necessary amount to purchase a verticalizer that will help 6-year-old Anya Shorokhova cope with her movement characteristics. By running their distances, runners not only improved their health, but also did a good deed.

The city district of Serpukhov was represented by residents of the village of Proletarsky and a sports instructor at the Intersettlement Center for Physical Education, Health and Mass Sports Work “Nadezhda” Alena Kushkovaya.

Serpukhovicha took 2nd place at the end of the race.
