Serpukhov swimmers won more than 30 medals

At the Moscow regional swimming competitions, which took place on September 10 at the Aquatics Palace in Ruza, 730 young swimmers from 78 teams representing the Moscow region, Moscow and other regions competed for medals.
One of the teams that performed well were athletes from Serpukhov, defending the honor of the Zvezda sports school. Their performance delighted coaches and parents as they brought home a whopping 32 medals.
Gold medals were won by Ulyana Bataykina, Saveliy Petrunin, Pavel Semenov, Alexander Tokarev, Timofey Eremin, Alexander Rovba, Arseny Kolotovkin, Georgy Minaev, Kirill Amchenkin and Timofey Khmylov. These talented swimmers demonstrated a high level of training and rightly took pride of place on the winners’ podium.
The names of the winners of “RUZA CUP”: Bogdan Kramorov, Polina Kulak, Miron Zakharov, Vladimir Sharshukov, Vladislav Tsukanov, Vladislav Gudin, Egor Melnikov, Elena Kamaldinova, Igor Balashov and Nikita Komissarov. Their diligence and long training were not in vain, and they earned recognition from the public and the jury.
Special words of gratitude should be expressed to the coaches who accompanied the athletes throughout the competition. Irina Modina, Oksana Semenova, Marina and Alexey Kaloshiny – their perseverance and professionalism deserve the highest praise.
