“I refused to participate in the Factor Bai show last year and announced it live,” music critic Sergei Sosedov told MK. – The show stopped giving me pleasure, and I no longer had the strength to combine the talk show “Beyond the Boundary” in Moscow and “Factom Bai” in Minsk. I was extremely tired, my temperature dropped, my blood pressure dropped, I had a loss of strength, and I couldn’t get enough sleep. I didn’t have any emotional or energetic recharge, but only a waste of energy.
They took Prigozhin on the show instead of me. I have not seen the show with him (and I have never watched this show with my participation). So I can’t say anything. And in general, here opinions and assessments should be given by the audience, because every show is made for them, and not at all for those people who star in it,” concluded Sergei Sosedov.
In fact, back in the summer, the Belarusian TV channel reported about “small changes in the composition of the jury members” of the vocal show “Factor. BY”. At the end of last season, Sergei Sosedov officially announced that he was leaving the project and leaving the position of mentor. Then the music critic referred to the fact that “he is in demand in other projects and he does not have the opportunity to combine everything. Moreover, you have to come to Belarus for several weeks and devote a lot of time to work.”
The producers found a replacement for him as “the best producer of the decade” (as nominated by a Russian music television channel), who clearly showed himself as a showman and presenter. After parting with Sosedov, the creators of the project noted that they were killing two birds with one stone, since Prigozhin not only knows how to discover talent, but also knows what to do to promote them. By the way, Joseph Prigozhin is now sitting on the jury together with rapper Serega and Olga Buzova. This creates its own dramaturgy, which the show’s producers count on.
