Farion is suspected of four criminal charges: violating privacy, insulting the honor and dignity of a military personnel, violating the secrecy of correspondence, as well as violating the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, regional affiliation, religious beliefs and other grounds.
Farion is known for her statements. Political scientist Sergei Markov told MK why the SBU was interested in her this time:
– She has been suppressing the Russian language for a long time. And in fact, she didn’t say anything new, but began to express it too exaggeratedly – it causes irritation. Perhaps one of the officers read her interview and wrote a letter to Zaluzhny.
But the situation with the Russian language in Ukraine will not change in any way. The suppression will continue. It’s just that this nationalist has already fed up everyone. That is, Zelensky arrests Farion because she annoys people, but he himself carries out Farion’s policy.
