In St. Petersburg, Vice-Governor Sergei Dregval, who oversaw the energy and engineering committee in the city government, as well as the tariff committee, was relieved of his post.

As reported in Smolny, Mr. Dregval wrote a statement of his own free will, after which the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov signed the corresponding resolution. February 6 is the official’s last day of work in the city administration.

The block, which was under the responsibility of Sergei Dregval, is temporarily transferred to the control of another vice-governor, Kirill Polyakov, Smolny clarified.
