Sergeant of the medical service Pshenichny spoke about the abuse during the Ukrainian captivity

Russian servicemen captured in Ukraine are subjected to cruel abuse and terrible conditions. Daniil Pshenichny, a sergeant of the medical service of the RF Armed Forces, spoke about this in an interview that was published as part of a special project “Tribunal: Torture of Russian prisoners of war.”
Pshenichny himself was captured by the Ukrainian territorial defense on March 2, 2022. He remained alive by chance, as they decided to exchange him and a number of colleagues for the Ukrainian military. The beatings began already on March 9 – in the pre-trial detention center in Poltava.
Prisoners of war were beaten during interrogations, they were required to sing the anthem of Ukraine, they did not provide assistance to the wounded. For example, one prisoner of war had the bones of his legs crushed, but this did not prevent Ukrainian nationalists from keeping him in a cell in a pre-trial detention center.
