Serbian football player Djordje Despotovic wanted to obtain Russian citizenship

By information Match TV, Djordje Despotovic, a Serbian footballer who previously played for several clubs in the Russian Premier League (RPL), decided to obtain Russian citizenship.
The footballer’s representative, Yuri Gorbenko, said that he has a Russian wife and child, and at the end of the year Despotovich will apply for a Russian passport.
Currently, the footballer is without a club, but keeps in shape in Moscow and will join one of the teams at the training camp in the winter.
Earlier in July, Despotovic said that Serbia is one of the rare countries that always supports Russia.
The last club for which Djordje Despotovic played was Arsenal from Tula. He left that team in July. Previously, he also defended the colors of the Orenburg and Rubin clubs.
