September became record hot in several European countries

Last month was the hottest September ever recorded in Austria, Belgium, Poland, France, Germany and Switzerland, national weather services report.
Thus, according to the French Meteo-France, the average temperature in the first autumn month was 21.5 degrees, which is 3.5 degrees above normal. This figure was the highest for September in the entire history of observations – since 1900.
The German weather organization DWD reported that last September was the hottest in the country’s history. The average temperature was 4 degrees higher than the climate norm.
Meteorologists also recorded temperature records in the countries closest to Germany – Austria and Switzerland.
The Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium is also talking about a national record. Moreover, “September was hotter than July and August.”
Polish weather forecasters announced that such a hot September had not occurred in more than a century of recorded history.
