Senator Andrei Klishas commented on the idea to establish the position of military ombudsmen. He called it “information noise” and said that such an initiative would not find support in the Federation Council.
“I consider the idea of “military ombudsmen” an example of informational noise, which was not planned to be given a serious legislative design. This idea will not find support in the Federation Council,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
This proposal was previously made by the New People party, in their opinion, military ombudsmen are needed to resolve problems that arise during partial mobilization, to help protect the rights of military personnel
