Senator of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Valery Semenov filed an application for early termination of his powers in connection with the transfer to another place of work. This was reported to TASS by the head of the committee of the Federation Council (SF) on the regulations and organization of parliamentary activities Vyacheslav Timchenko.
“Yesterday (May 22— “b”) Late in the evening, a statement was received from Semenov Valery Vladimirovich about the resignation. The reason is the transition to another place of work,” said Mr. Timchenko. The Federation Council will consider this issue at a meeting tomorrow, May 24.
Valery Semyonov, 62, is a member of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Self-Government and Northern Affairs. He has been representing the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory since 2014. Since 2001, he has been a member of the Legislative Assembly of the region.
