In the Graivoronsky district of the Belgorod region, the territory is being cleaned up after the penetration of the sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“The territory is being cleaned up by the Ministry of Defense together with law enforcement agencies. But to return to their homes for now, I now appeal to the residents of the Grayvoron district, who, thank you very much, temporarily left their homes, is not worth it yet,” the message says.
Gladkov said that in those settlements where the DRG had penetrated, there were two wounded civilians. No one died as a result of the incident, he said. During the evacuation the day before, on May 22, a woman born in 1941 died in the evening. The reasons are being established, Gladkov added.

Gladkov later reported that eight people got wounds.
Due to the penetration of saboteurs in the Belgorod region introduced legal regime of the counter-terrorist operation. Individuals will be checked for identity documents, in case of their absence, citizens will be taken to the internal affairs bodies for identification. Perhaps “the removal of individuals from certain areas of the terrain and objects, as well as the towing of vehicles.”
Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the penetration of Ukrainian saboteurs into the territory of the Belgorod region is aimed at minimizing the political effect of the loss of the Armed Forces of Artemovsk. Now work is underway to squeeze out saboteurs from the territory of the Russian Federation and their destruction, Peskov added.
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. The same regime operates in seven other regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
