Senator Dzhabarov: when deliveries to Ukraine, Patriot air defense systems may fall into the hands of Russia

The first deputy head of the international committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Dzhabarov, said that the United States is not looking for a direct confrontation with Russia, but they are trying to weaken the Russian Federation with the help of Ukraine. According to the senator, the United States will “stuff” the Ukrainians with as many weapons as they need, if only Russia would continue to fight Ukraine armed with American weapons.

At the same time, Dzhabarov warned that there is a danger for the United States to supply Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) to Ukraine. The senator explained this by the fact that, according to experts, Russian air defense systems can easily shoot down these air defense systems, and the United States can thereby compromise its high-precision weapons, which they praised, and interest in them on the market, especially in Arab countries, may decrease.

In addition, Dzhabarov added that when delivering Patriot to Ukraine, a sample of the complex may fall into the hands of the Russian Federation, after which Russia will be able to tell the United States “what is their weakness.”
