Semyon Yelistratov from Ufa became the champion of the Russian Cup in short track. This was announced by the Minister of Sports of Bashkiria Ruslan Khabibov.
The Russian Cup final was held in Rybinsk. At a distance of 1500 meters and 3000 meters, the pupil of the Ufa short track school took first place, at 500 meters – third, at thousands – second.

Honored Master of Sports of Russia Semyon Yelistratov is the 2014 Olympic champion in the relay, the bronze medalist of the 2018 and 2022 Olympics at a distance of 1500 meters. Also in 2015, he won the world championship at a distance of 1500 meters.
