Semak assessed the preparation of Zenit newcomers after winter training

Head coach of FC Zenit Sergei Semak said that the newcomers who joined the club in the winter transfer window are gradually getting involved. But to be one hundred percent ready, one month is clearly not enough, the club’s press service reports Semak’s words.
Semak expects them to fully integrate and adapt to training by the beginning of the next season.
“Regardless of the load and intensity, these are different workouts, and you also need to adapt to them. In general, we are pleased with how the guys work, how they feel in the team,” said the head coach.
As for the rest of the team, Semak said that he was pleased with the work of the players and coaching staff at the training camp. All goals were achieved, although the preparatory period was difficult.
To FC Zenit for the winter transfer campaign moved on four players – Brazilians Pedro, Arthur and Nino, as well as Ilzat Akhmetov from Krasnodar. Also the contract was extended with striker Mateo Cassierra.
