Security measures have been stepped up at children’s health camps and federal children’s centers in southern Russia. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

Graduation parties have been postponed in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in a number of other regions where additional anti-terrorist measures have been introduced, he said.

“In other regions, events are held as usual, the department is in constant contact with local authorities on this issue, and if necessary, we give appropriate recommendations,” the representative of the department said.

Earlier, TASS, citing the press service of the Moscow Department of Education and Science, announced the postponement of graduation parties in schools and the citywide graduation ceremony in Gorky Park in connection with the introduction of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime in the capital. The all-Russian school graduation ball scheduled for today in the Moscow Kremlin was also cancelled.
