Secondary school students were allowed to take the CPR in a number of subjects on the computer

The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science has published on its website a document that sets out the rules for conducting All-Russian verification work in 2023.

From the new: “When conducting a VPR in history, biology, geography and social science in the fifth to eighth grades, an alternative opportunity is provided for participants to perform work in computer form. For this, the schedule provides for a period from April 4 to April 17 and a reserve day – April 18.

In the traditional, written-paper form, the VLOOKUP will be held for students in grades 4-8 from March 15 to May 20, 2023. High school students, that is, students in grades 10-11, will write VLOOKUP from March 1 to 25. Tenth graders will take geography, and eleventh graders will take history, biology, geography, physics, chemistry, foreign languages ​​(English, German or French), as well as a unified test in social and humanitarian subjects. However: whether to conduct VPR for students of the 10th and 11th grades, as in previous years, will be decided by the educational organizations themselves, test work for eleventh graders should be carried out in those subjects that they did not choose to take in the form of the Unified State Examination.

All-Russian verification work is an independent assessment of the quality of secondary education, which has been carried out since 2015. Then, the fourth-grade students were the first to join them. With the help of VPR, the level of knowledge of primary school graduates was checked. Every year, new classes were included in the testing system. This year, students from grades 4-11 are participating in the VPR. Assessment of knowledge is carried out according to the same criteria for all schools in the country. And traditionally it takes place in the usual written form. A separate day is not allocated for VPR, the guys write papers as part of regular lessons.

If we talk about the VPR system itself, then schoolchildren write some subjects without fail, some – by choice. So, for example, for students of the seventh grade, VPR in the “Russian language” and “mathematics” are mandatory. Two more test subjects will be randomly selected from four disciplines: history, biology, geography and social studies. Eighth, classes will add a “foreign language” to the number of mandatory classes, and “biology” and “chemistry” will be added to the elective subjects.
