Searches began at riot participants at Makhachkala airport

The Investigative Committee of Russia, in a publication on its Telegram channel, reported that as part of a criminal case, searches are being conducted at the place of residence of persons involved in organizing mass riots in Makhachkala.
It is noted that in accordance with the decision of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, the criminal case of mass riots at the Makhachkala airport will be transferred to the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for a full, objective and thorough investigation.
The department indicated that as part of the criminal case, participants in mass riots are being interrogated, and searches are being conducted at the place of residence of persons involved in the organization and execution of the crime. The Investigative Committee also clarified that, with the participation of forensic investigators, the scene of the incident was inspected, damage to property was recorded, and recordings from CCTV cameras were confiscated.
