Scientists talk about the dangers of coconut oil

Brazilian scientists from the University of Campinas in a Hodge study found that coconut oil can be hazardous to health.
The results of the work are published in the Journal of Functional Foods. Coconut oil has been reported to cause obesity.
The researchers conducted their experiments on mice. Mice that were given high doses of palm oil became overweight, had changes in eating, and were found to have diseases of the central nervous system, adipose tissue, and liver. The subjects also had an impaired ability to activate the cellular mechanisms that regulate satiety and blood sugar levels.
The study says that prolonged abuse of coconut oil can provoke significant metabolic changes, obesity and other diseases.
