Scientists: Live classical music makes listeners' hearts beat to the beat

The hearts of listeners of classical music concerts literally beat to the beat, scientists from Switzerland and Germany have said.

The heartbeats of 130 listeners of concerts by Ludwig van Beethoven, Brett Dean and Johannes Brahms were synchronized, and in the case of Dean and Brahms (but not Beethoven), their movements were also synchronized.

Heart rate synchronization was more noticeable in introverts and those who, according to psychological tests, could be called friendly.
