Experts from the University of Massachusetts conducted a study and found that making love is especially beneficial in certain situations. And they explained why in these cases it makes sense to give up everything and indulge in carnal pleasures.

So, scientists have concluded that the best time for sex is when you are feeling very angry. They give a twofold explanation for this. Firstly, anger itself has a destructive effect on the nervous system and overall health – since it promotes the production of the hormones norepinephrine and cortisol. They are also called stress hormones. With high levels of these hormones, all biological processes in the body are greatly accelerated, which increases the likelihood of exacerbation of chronic diseases and the emergence of new ones. Stress hormones cause a narrowing of the arteries, increase blood pressure, and force the heart to work harder, which increases the risk of cardiovascular pathologies.

Therefore, outbursts of anger should be extinguished as quickly as possible. But this is usually not easy to do.

And this is where sex comes to the rescue. Being a natural pain reliever, it triggers the release of endorphins, which reduce pain and reduce stress levels.

Interestingly, intimate contact itself during a strong emotional outburst with a negative connotation, which is anger, turns out to be brighter and more intense. Because such emotions during sexual intercourse contribute to greater arousal and a more powerful release of adrenaline into the blood.
