Scientists have discovered a new useful property of coffee with milk

Employees of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark found that coffee with milk has an anti-inflammatory effect on the body. More about opening writes scientific publication The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
Inflammation occurs due to the fact that bacteria, viruses and other substances enter the body, to which the immune system reacts with the help of white blood cells and various chemicals.
Oxidative stress can also be the cause of inflammation: this is the name of the process in which body cells are damaged when they interact with oxygen. To reduce oxidative stress, scientists note, a person needs a substance called polyphenol.
The fact is that the polyphenol, when interacting with the amino acid, helps to level the inflammation of the parts of the body affected by oxidation. An experiment conducted by scientists showed that the combination of two substances – polyphenols and amino acids – allows you to more effectively cope with the inflammatory process.
Note that coffee is a rich source of polyphenols, and milk is known to be generous in proteins. Thus, scientists concluded that drinks made from coffee and milk can have a positive effect on the anti-inflammatory process.
