Scientists discover a mysterious egg off the coast of Alaska

The website of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States of America reported that American scientists discovered an unidentified biological object off the coast of Alaska.
It is specified that the mysterious object was discovered on August 30 at a depth of about 3.3 thousand meters. In appearance it resembles an egg. The domed, smooth golden specimen measures just over 10 centimeters in diameter. Scientists found it tightly attached to a huge stone.
“We are currently unable to identify this find. However, we can say for sure that it has a biological origin,” said agency spokesman Sam Candio.
Experts say it is not yet clear whether the object is related to a known species or a new species.
