Scientist Phillip said strike on US nuclear weapons silos threatens millions

Scientist Sebastian Philip from Princeton University came to the conclusion that in the event of an attack on American nuclear weapons silos, 90 percent of the country’s population could die. He noted that a targeted nuclear attack on mines in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana and North Dakota would lead to the destruction of all living beings in the surrounding regions.
The scientist claims that one or two nuclear warheads will be required to eliminate the silo launcher. He also warned that not only the shock wave and the “giant fireball,” but also radioactive dust would pose a danger to US residents.
Philip also noted that due to changing winds, “deadly precipitation” could fall not only in the neighboring states, but also in Canada and northern Mexico.
According to him, more than 300 million people would be affected by such an attack.
