Schools began to hang lesson schedules in the form of QR codes: parents are perplexed

Schools are becoming more and more modern: for example, in some of them, the lesson schedule on the wall now looks not like a table familiar to children, but in the form of huge QR codes. The leadership of the educational institution, apparently, reported to a higher authority about the unprecedented level of digitalization that they have introduced into their educational process. And the students and their parents were left with drooping jaws – not all of them even have smartphones to decipher this miracle of human thought.

The idea of ​​transforming the school timetable into a “digital” version was brought to life by School No. 1 in Alekseevka, Belgorod Region. But she is not alone at all.

“In our kindergarten, they have been posting various information in this form for a long time,” shared one of the mothers of the Kursk region. – We left that garden, I didn’t visit these links in principle.

Parents of students of school No. 1 did not appreciate the progressive innovation of the administration. They ask legitimate questions: what if one of the students has a dead phone or is it a push-button phone (which, by the way, is very common among elementary school students)?

– The Russian language seems to have not been canceled, why make morons out of children? – one of the parents is indignant. – In principle, it is necessary to fight against the “quarries”, especially in schools. The schedule must be written in normal Russian words. And then again, at first we struggle with the use of gadgets by children during the educational process, but now it turns out that a child simply has to have one?

And another of the mothers demanded that “the director (or the Minister of Education of the city where this disgrace is introduced) give my children a smartphone with the Internet paid for nine months of study!”.

– In general, the idea of ​​​​following the QR code to the necessary links is not bad in itself, – Mikhail Bogdanov, chairman of the St. Petersburg City Parents’ Committee, commented to MK. – but what about the fact that, let me remind you, we have SANPiNs that prohibit students from using mobile phones for educational purposes? I can already see the excesses in this. It was not worth replacing some text that could be photographed by a child or rewritten by him with such strange things. You need to have an understanding of the limits of using a particular technology. As they say, “make a fool pray to God – he will bruise his entire forehead.” And in this case, “digitizers” tend to report on digital innovations in their school as soon as possible.

“If we translate some kind of interaction with citizens into digital, then we always need to take care of an alternative channel for receiving this or that service,” Pavel Poteev, an expert in the field of digital transformation, including in the educational sphere, expressed his point of view to MK. – By the way, this is relevant not only for Russia, but also for any other country. Alternative channels are designed just for those who are not computer literate enough or who have a distrust of digital technologies. And in general, children should learn to perceive information not only from the monitor!

The administration of the Alekseevsky city district officially commented on the newfangled form of the schedule as follows:

– In secondary school No. 1, the teaching staff, together with the students, decided to turn the capabilities of technological gadgets to their advantage and, along with the traditional schedule, make the schedule QR codes. There is a regular class schedule for each class. The use of a QR-schedule in educational organizations is considered acceptable and does not contradict the law.

Parents were indignant at this answer: “We, parents, are also participants in the educational process, you asked us whether we are against or for? And where is it written that the child must have a gadget that reads these codes?

The administration of the school itself is now clearly upset by the negative assessments of its progress and is trying to rebuff the attacks of parents on social networks:

– The QR-schedule was offered to students as part of a school project, since the QR-code performs two functions at once: it allows you to automatically read various data; puts a lot of information into a small picture. This project was discussed at the pedagogical council of the school, with members of the school government. In the near future, it is planned to be discussed at parent meetings, – said the representative of the school. And when we contacted the educational institution, we were asked: “I would not like you to discuss this.”

A local public in Alekseyevka, posting a photo of an unusual “quark-coded” schedule, commented: “We are afraid that soon the tasks in the textbooks will look like this.”
