Schools and kindergartens evacuated in Chukotka after reports of mining

Today, November 11, the Anadyr City Court received an anonymous letter about the mining of kindergartens and schools in the city. According to the apparatus of the governor and government of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, employees of the regional departments of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized inspections throughout the region, examining 45 objects.
“3936 people were quickly evacuated, of which 620 were employees of institutions. The buildings were examined by representatives of law enforcement agencies, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including cynologists, ”the press release says. The most extensive inspections took place in Anadyr. In the regional capital, the security forces inspected 11 buildings, from which they took 2,878 children and adults. Specialists did not find any explosive devices, there is no threat to the life and health of residents.
Such situations in Chukotka are not uncommon. On October 28, over 2,000 people were evacuated from educational institutions in Anadyr. Then a message about the mining was sent to the e-mail of the court of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
