The Ministry of Education stated that from the new calendar year, secondary and secondary vocational educational institutions will have to use only state information systems in their educational process.
From January 1, organizations of basic general and secondary vocational education are required to use exclusively state information systems within the framework of educational programs. This is regulated by the amendments that were made in 2021 to the Federal Law “On Education”.
For educational institutions, the federal state information system (FSIS) “My School” has been prepared. Among the key principles for the creation and operation of the system is the provision of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. The system was created as a tool to help the teacher, parent, student. It complements the traditional education system and should not replace face-to-face communication.
Earlier, in 15 regions, the use of the FSIS “My School” began in a pilot mode. Since September 1 last year, many subjects that were not previously covered by the experiment, on their own initiative, joined it, successfully integrated their own regional systems with the My School system.
Today, personal accounts, a library of verified educational content, a testing subsystem, cloud storage, document editing and other services are already available to users in FSIS My School. At the moment, the library of digital educational materials contains more than 6.5 thousand pieces of content.
The Ministry of Education of Russia acts as a single functional customer of the service and develops content. The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia organizes and develops software, ensures its continuous operation and security.
Also, special attention is paid to preparing teachers to work with new digital services and content. Refresher courses are held, a user support service is working.
