Daniil Sergeev, Ksenia Kolokoltseva, and Elizaveta Tarelkina, tenth grade students of the engineering class at Moscow School No. 2120, created a prototype robotic arm that not only brings water bottles to the cooler, but also sets them up.

According to project curator Maria Skorikova, the students sought to create a mechanism that can deliver heavy 19-liter bottles to the school cooler, and a maneuverable “claw” can lift bottled water and install it on a water dispenser.
“All actions of the robot can be controlled from a smartphone application, which was also developed by high school students,” Maria Skorikova explained. – At the basis of the manipulator, the guys laid the mechanism of a robotic arm with a grip, modeled so that it performs three commands – moving horizontally, up and down.
By the way, in addition to delivering water, the robot can be used to transport books to the school library, desks and chairs from class to class.
