Schoolchildren of Buryatia won the All-Russian Spartakiad in short track speed skating

From February 27 to 29, the All-Russian Spartakiad of the Special Olympics of Russia in short track speed skating was held in the city of Penza. For the first time, Buryatia was represented by a team of schoolchildren from the Zakamensk special (correctional) boarding school. They performed well in all competitions.

More than 50 athletes from eight regions of Russia came to the competition: Penza, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Kostroma regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Buryatia.

According to the results of the sports competition at a distance of 111m, Natalya Plyusnina won 1st place among girls, Kirill Pashinsky won 1st place among men. At a distance of 777m: 3rd place – Igor Karataev, 4th place – Bator Soskinov. At a distance of 222m: 2nd place – Natalya Pashinskaya. At a distance of 333m: 2nd place – Natalya Pashinskaya, 3rd place – Natalya Plyusnina.

At the 500m distance: 1st place went to Egor Krasikov, 2nd place to Kirill Pashinsky. At a distance of 1000m: 2nd place – Igor Karataev, 3rd place – Egor Krasikov.

The team took 3rd place in the 1500 m unified relay, and 1st place in the 1500 m relay.
