School graduates proposed to divide the Unified State Examination in the Russian language into basic and specialized levels

The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science has completed an analysis of the proposals of schoolchildren, their parents and teachers to improve the system for conducting the Unified State Exam.
Suggestions and comments were collected on the basis of the results of the state certification in 2022 and mainly related to the content of the Test and Measurement Materials, the use of additional reference tools in exams, and the appeals procedure. But there were also proposals to divide the Russian language exam into basic and specialized levels, increase the time allotted for the written part of the exam in a foreign language, and also reduce the number of participants in the audience for the oral part of the foreign language exam. There was a proposal to cancel the Unified State Examination for all graduates, leaving it only for those who are going to enter institutes.
“All proposals are carefully considered and analyzed by specialists, and after discussion with the expert community, many of them have already been put into practice in previous years,” said Anzor Muzaev, head of Rosobrnadzor.
