German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Friday, September 29, said that representatives of the political leadership of Germany and five Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) agreed on another meeting in a similar format.
The German politician said that the visit of the leaders of five Central Asian states to Berlin was a special event, and “we build on 30 years of relations.”
Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held tete-a-tete talks with Olaf Scholz. The politicians noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations and confirmed the mutual desire for further comprehensive strengthening of Kazakh-German relations.
Previously, the Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, said that the Kremlin did not see anything criminal in the meeting of American President Joe Biden with the political leadership of Central Asian countries.
