German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was booed by those present at the festival of his SPD party in the city of Falkensee, RIA Novosti reports citing the Bild newspaper.
Scholz also heard accusations against him of “warmongering” in Ukraine. At the festival, he spoke on the topic of helping Ukraine.
Bild posted footage showing a group of about 100 Germans loudly booing Scholz and calling him a “warmonger”, a “liar” and a “bandit”.
Similarly, the audience reacted to the speech of the Prime Minister of Brandenburg Dietmar Woidke, the report said.
Earlier it was reported that most of the inhabitants of Germany negatively perceive the idea of providing supplies of Western fighters to the Kiev regime, this follows from the survey data conducted by the sociological institute infratest dimap commissioned by the ARD media company. It is noted that at the moment only 28% of Germans are in favor of deliveries, while 64% do not approve of them. In addition, the citizens of Germany were divided in their opinion regarding the provision of weapons made in Germany to Kyiv. Only 14% are sure that their country does not supply enough weapons to Kyiv, compared to March, this number has remained by 2%. 40% believe that supplies to Ukraine are sufficient, 37% believe that the FRG provides too many weapons to Ukrainians. The number of such responses increased by 6% compared to March.
It is also reported that, according to the survey, more than half of the respondents (55 percent) believe that Germany is not making enough diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
