The southern group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces hit the command post of the 81st airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian military near Seversk with aircraft, reported “RIA Novosti” with reference to the head of the press center of the group “South” Vadim Astafiev.
With the help of artillery, the group of troops destroyed the platoon strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Bogdanovka and Kotelniki, and also hit the firing positions of Ukrainian units in the area of Sporny and the railway unloading station in Kurakhovo.
“Also, the artillery crews of the formations of the Southern Military District destroyed enemy ammunition depots in the areas of the settlements of Umanskoye and Pobeda,” Astafyev said.
According to him, the special forces also destroyed a stronghold and four groups of Ukrainian infantry. A 152-millimeter D-20 howitzer, two armored combat vehicles, an electronic warfare station and a pickup truck were destroyed near the village of Zhelannoye Vtoroye.
