German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the need to create a multipolar world, where as many countries as possible will cooperate.
In an interview with Latin American media, the chancellor said that in the future, world politics will be led not by a couple of blocs, but by several states at once, including Asia, Africa and Latin America.
At the same time, Scholz declared his commitment to “an order based on rules”, specifying that this order is based on the UN Charter, the rule of law and respect for human rights.
In his opinion, the West, together with the states of the multipolar world, is capable of solving important social problems, as well as issues of climate protection and healthcare. At the same time, Scholz said that his country quickly adapted to a reality in which there is no cooperation with the Russian Federation.
At the end of January, it became known about the plans of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, of which Olaf Scholz is a member, to revise Germany’s foreign policy, including in relation to Russia and China.
