Scholz vows to ban glorification of Hamas in Germany

Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the German Interior Ministry will ban the activities of the Hamas group in Germany. In addition, organizations that glorify terrorist attacks will be banned.
He also noted that an attack on Israel by third parties, including Hezbollah, would be an “unforgivable mistake.”
Scholz called the lack of a clear response from the Palestinian authorities to the Hamas attack shameful. Germany, in connection with recent events, is going to reconsider all development cooperation with the Palestinian territories.
