Scholz: there is no unity in Germany on sanctions and weapons to Kyiv

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during his speech at the Munich Security Conference, said that there are some politicians in Germany who are not so sure that it is a good idea to impose sanctions against Russia and supply a lot of weapons to Ukraine.
At the same time, he noted that skeptics eventually admit that the government needs to make responsible decisions, but the supply adherents are forced to admit that such decisions are made collectively at the level of the community of partners.
He also stressed that allies who can supply tanks to Ukraine should do so now, and Germany will contribute to this decision by providing logistics and resupply, as well as training the Ukrainian military.
