Spiegel: Scholz’s popularity has declined more than any other German politician
At the end of December, approval of the work of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz showed the largest decline among all German politicians, writes Der Spiegel. The ranking is maintained by Verian.
Scholz reportedly lost 14% in his approval rating over the month, placing him in 20th place among all politicians. This is the maximum drop in the rankings.
Also, a decrease in the level of approval was recorded among German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock and German Interior Minister Nancy Feser. Both lost 4%.
At the same time, some politicians’ approval ratings increased significantly in December. Among them are the leader of the opposition Christian Social Union (CSU) Markus Soeder (+7%) and Sarah Wagenknecht (+8%).
