Scholz and Macron called on Zelensky to start negotiations with Russia

French and German Presidents Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz advised Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to start negotiations with Russia during a meeting in Paris. About it reported newspaper The Wall Street Journal.

The meeting took place in early February, the WSJ notes. The details of this conversation were not made public in the newspaper. The sources of the newspaper also said that after the end of the military conflict, Great Britain, France and Germany plan to conclude defense agreements between Ukraine and NATO.
