SBU informs blogger Podolyak of suspicion of high treason in absentia

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) informed blogger Yuriy Podolyak of treason in absentia, says in the message of the press service of the department in the Telegram channel.
“The security service has collected an exhaustive evidence base on the millionaire blogger Yuriy Podolyaka <...> The expert studies initiated by the SBU confirmed that in the interviews and speeches of Podolyaka there are facts of his subversive activities against Ukraine,” the message reads.
The press service pointed out that Podolyaka regularly speaks on Russian TV channels, talks about the situation at the front, and also publishes information on his Telegram channel, which has several million subscribers.
The blogger is suspected of a number of articles, including “dissemination of materials calling for changing the borders of the territory in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine”, “high treason committed under martial law”.
At the end of February, President Vladimir Putin announced thanks to bloggers and journalists Dmitry Puchkov and Yuri Podolyaka for their contribution to the work of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO).
