The Security Service of Ukraine reported that it had detained two IDPs from eastern Ukraine suspected of trying to scout the location of the HIMARS MLRS and destroy them, allegedly for a reward.
“The SBU neutralized an agent network in Kremenchug that tried to detect and blow up HIMARS installations and S-300 complexes,” the SBU telegram channel says.
It is also reported that in the event of the discovery of MLRS, “Russian agents planned to destroy them by arson and further detonation of ammunition.”
To find out information about the location of the installations, as indicated in the message, two migrants from the east of Ukraine, allegedly recruited by Dmitry Zipir, a representative of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR, tried to find out.
Investigators qualified Zipir’s actions as treason, collaborationist activity and participation in illegal armed formations.
