Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry emphasizes the importance of cooperation with Russia on oil

Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud stressed the importance of partnership with Russia on oil. He said this at a forum in Davos in an interview with Bloomberg Television.
“We have an important partnership with Russia, OPEC+. A partnership that brings stability to the oil market, which is important to us as oil continues to be our main source of [доходов]but it is also important for the world community,” the minister said.
He noted that after the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, energy prices jumped sharply, but the situation was stabilized.
The minister also said that Saudi Arabia intends to continue to cooperate with Russia on this issue, as well as on the issue of resolving the Ukrainian conflict. Riyadh also works with Kyiv, Ukraine is an important trading partner of Saudi Arabia, he added.
