Satellites launched from UK for the first time

Sky News TV channel showed footage of the launch of a two-stage launch vehicle (air launch) LauncherOne from a modified Boeing-747 aircraft that took off from Newquay Airport in the south-west of England.
The rocket was fixed under the wing of the aircraft, it launched 9 satellites into low Earth orbit, including several military ones.
The flight of the plane was watched by several thousand residents of the UK, who came to Cornwall specifically to capture the historic moment for the United Kingdom.
