Saransk School No. 39 was overwhelmed by the energy of the elements

“Energy of the Elements” was the name of the architectural project that the builders brought to life during the overhaul of secondary school No. 39 in Saransk. An educational institution in the capital of Mordovia accepted students after a global reconstruction.

Teachers, parents and students themselves worked on the design project of the school. The first floor of the renovated building symbolizes the energy of the earth, the second – water, the third – the energy of the sun and air. The four natural elements are also reflected in the color scheme of the entrance group: the arch above the main entrance to the school is decorated with wide lines of blue, orange, light blue and white. Natural tones are also involved in the design of the floors. The first one is dominated by green and beige colors. Accents on the second floor are placed in blue and blue hues. The third floor is given over to the elements of the sun and air: orange and blue dominate here. The progress of the repair work was monitored by the parents on a weekly basis.

“I am a member of the parent committee and come here several times a week to see how the work is progressing. They didn’t ask me about it, this is my personal initiative, but both the school administration and the builders are calm about this,” says Igor Surodeev, who has two daughters at school 39. – The pace of work is amazing. Still, I thought it would take longer. And every time I come and see big changes. I am happy for the students that they will have such a beautiful, such a modern school.”
