Samsung Company presented a new device in the Fan Edition line, which includes the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tablets, as well as Galaxy Buds FE wireless headphones. Sales of new products will begin in October, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone will cost $599, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Samsung Tab S9 FE+ tablets will cost from $450, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE headphones will cost from $100.
The characteristics of the Galaxy S23 FE chip have not been officially disclosed, but depending on the market, it is expected that the smartphone will be equipped with last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Samsung Exynos 2200 processors. The chips are combined with 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of internal memory.
Galaxy S23 FE has a 10 MP front camera, a 50 MP main lens, a 10 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The device has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and the body is IP68 certified for protection from dust and moisture. The 4500 mAh battery supports charging up to 25 W.
The tablets received a Samsung Exynos 1380 chip combined with 6, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, the volume of which can be increased using microSD memory cards. The main difference between the models is the screen diagonal (10.9-inch for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and 12.4-inch for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+) and cameras (12 megapixel front for both tablets, 8 megapixel main lens for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and 8 MP main lens and 8 MP wide-angle lens on the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+). The tablets are IP68 certified, support up to 45W charging (8000 mAh battery for Galaxy Tab S9 FE and 10,000 mAh battery for Galaxy Tab S9 FE+) and include a Samsung S Pen stylus.
The Galaxy Buds FE wireless headphones are Samsung’s most affordable active noise-canceling headphones. The new product can work without recharging for up to 6 hours, and the case with a 479 mAh battery increases autonomy up to 21 hours. Support for AAC and SBC codecs and the ability to simultaneously connect to multiple devices are announced.
