Samsung Company presented limited edition of the folding smartphone Galaxy Z Flip5 – the Retro version in honor of the 2003 clamshell.

The source of inspiration was the SGH-E700 phone from 20 years ago, which was the first in Samsung history to have a built-in antenna and, due to its combination of qualities, became one of the popular phones of the early 2000s.

Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro received a design in the style of the SGH-E700 with a combination of blue and silver colors, an interface in the style of pixel graphics of the 2000s and with a special animation with a city landscape.

The set includes a special case, three special stickers with logos from different eras of Samsung history, and a collector’s card engraved with the unique serial number of a specific smartphone.

The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro will be limited edition and will only be available in South Korea, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Australia. The cost of the device has not been announced. Technically, the new product completely replicates presented in the summer of 2023, a basic folding smartphone.
