Samsung Galaxy S23 users complain about lack of memory

Owners of new Samsung smartphones spoke about the lack of memory, according to SamMobile.

The portal drew attention to the complaints of the first users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones, who noticed that the Android operating system on smartphones can take up to 60 gigabytes of memory on the drive. Usually Google’s OS requires much less memory.

It turned out that the size that Android needs to host differs in different regions. For example, in India, the system occupies about 40 gigabytes, and in smartphones in the Spanish version of the OS, up to 60 gigabytes. For comparison: on smartphones of the Galaxy S22 series, the system occupied no more than 30 gigabytes.

Experts suggest that Samsung does not use the Android A / B Seamless Updates feature, which seamlessly downloads updates. It also appears that several partner apps are pre-installed on Android in some regions. According to journalists, it’s good that all phones in the Galaxy S23 series have at least 256 gigabytes of memory.

The announcement of smartphones in this series took place on February 1. It was reported that in Russia they will cost from 74,999 rubles.
