Sambo will be included in the school curriculum in Gubkinsky

In several schools of Gubkinsky, sambo classes will be included in the educational program, they want to expand the project to the entire Yamal, the head of Gubkinsky Andrey Garanin said on November 8 in his social networks.
“We have joined the federal project “Sambo to School” and from December 1 we will introduce sambo classes in the schools of Gubkinsky – in the second, fourth, lyceum and school named after Yaroslav Vasilenko. We talked with Aleksey Sitnikov (First Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug — editor’s note) and decided that we would develop the project in other municipalities of our district as well. I am sure that everyone will be happy to join the physical and patriotic education of the younger generation,” Garanin announced.
He noted that in schools, young northerners will learn self-defense techniques not only in additional classes, but also in their free time.
Recall that since the beginning of 2022, Andrey Garanin has been heading sambo federation in YNAO.
