An interregional sambo tournament was held in Ivanovo, dedicated to the memory of the MS USSR Igor Khorev. The tournament brought together a large number of athletes from all over the region and nearby regions.
There were a huge number of winners and prize-winners at the competitions due to the large number of disciplines. If we talk about athletes from the Ivanovo region, then the athletes from the sambo section of the Teikovskaya Youth Sports School were especially distinguished.
Egor Kosmakov and Maxim Lukashov became the winners of the tournament, having won gold medals. Silver in the competition was earned by Lev Shilov and Sultan Pugoev. Artyom Pukhov and Ivan Kuznetsov won bronze medals.
